When planning a website the first important steps involve just a pen and a paper. It’s crucial to understand what we are creating and its nature. If you applied the property "float:left/right;" to some elements in your styleshhet but you want to keep'em inside a div, you can add to it the property "overflow:auto". Simple as that.
